Hi, I’m Aiko - it’s lovely to have you here at Kumaiko (koo-my-ko) Photo ♡

I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based in Honolulu, Oahu. My love for photography began in film, and I believe these early roots in film photography have shaped my style of digital photography - nostalgic, sentimental, and authentic.

With each photo, there is intention in capturing organic and candid moments to remember. It is a joy to be able to partner with couples, families, and individuals in taking special moments and putting them together in a little time capsule. Storytelling is a huge passion of mine, and it brings me excitement to be able to tell a story through my photography that is adaptable, memorable, and unique to each person in front of the camera.
